It was all about the girls today on the Gold Coast with our first global #ROXYfitness event of the year, and the first rounds of the #ROXYpro kicking off at Snapper Rocks.

A thousand girls took to their yoga mats alongside ROXY team riders Kelia, Monyca, Bruna, Justine, Mainei, Alyssa, Caroline, Nao and Sophia as Stephanie Gilmore was paddling out for her first heat in the 2016 Women’s Championship tour.

With the ocean as their backdrop, participants enjoyed a picturesque 5km run along the promenade, looping back to Rainbow Bay to finish.

In perfect timing, the 1km SUP race finished for everyone to head back to Snapper Rocks to catch Steph’s Round 2 heat, where she scored the highest heat total of the event so far!
