After meeting a few of our favorite groms on on the Gold Coast, we thought we’d introduce them to you. We think they’re going to be the ones to watch in the not-so distant future.
Meet Zahlia, one of the newest groms to the ROXY team. She’s 11 years old and has already been surfing for at least 5 years - growing up in Wollongong, a coastal town south of Sydney no doubt helps!
We invited her to the ROXY pro to get her stoked and to meet fellow groms Sierra and Sky - the three of them quickly became inseparable so the team dubbed them #3Amigos 2.0. The trip to the pro also gave Zahlia an insight into what it will be like to be part of the team when she’s a little bit older, from going on photo shoots to competing on the CT tour.
Zahlia surfed with the team including her idol, Stephanie Gilmore, joined us at the ROXY fitness event and even had a spot at the team signing. Pretty much a dream come true for this future champ.
