In near perfect conditions at La Graviere, 3x World Champion, Carissa Moore, claimed back to back #ROXYpro France championships.

After a string of lay days, and a delayed start to finals day, the much-anticipated swell arrived and delivered a high scoring afternoon that drew a standing room only crowd to the beach.

With the Women’s event only needing to complete three heats to crown a champion, the shoreline was abuzz with fan talk, would it be Sally, Lakey, Carissa or Tyler?

Before too long, the final match up was set and the crowds started to bake in the unseasonably hot afternoon sun. Carissa and Lakey paddled out and it was the 3x World Champion, Moore,  that set the tempo for the heat, notching up a 9 point ride in the early stages.

While Lakey tried to match Carissa’s confidence, the momentum that Carissa built was hard to match and finally when the buzzer rang, the beach erupted with applause and fans swarmed to try and catch a glimpse as she was chaired up the beach.

Shortly after the presentations wrapped, fans and beachgoers were treated to another incredible French sunset, ending yet another memorable week of #ROXYpro action on the Landes Coast.
